The warm and welcoming color palette feels both inviting and calming. Behind the desk, is a focal wall painted with the color Redend Point, Sherwin Williams’ Color of the Year 2023. I love that this hue is inspired by connecting with others, which felt spot on for a space designed for a busy professional who collaborates with team members or meets virtually with business colleagues. A lighter beige color coordinates well with the focal wall and feels fresh paired with mid-tone wood furniture. This hue can be found in the desk chair and the rug. Storage solutions are critical to creating and keeping a clutter-free workspace. I love the hidden shelves in the legs of the desk and the mix of closed and open storage in the bookshelves. An abstract landscape painting makes an excellent focal point for the space and serves as a lovely backdrop for social media videos or virtual calls. Lighting is another very important element for an office space.
